Pak trio qualifies for Asian Snooker Championship pre-quarterfinals

Pakistan, June 24 -- Pakistani trio of Awais Munir, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Sajjad have qualified for the Pre quarterfinals of the Asian 6 Red & Team Snooker Championship 2025 at Colombo, Sri Lanka.

According to details, Awais won all three matches while Asif won two matches and lost one. Sajjad also won two matches while his one match is remaining.

On Monday, Asif beat Abdullah Al Raisi Ahmed A (Oman) 4-0 (40-1, 27-14, 27-24, 56(55)-04); Sajjad outplayed Badurdeen Mohamed Musarra (Sri Lanka) 4-0 (41-9, 35-1, 58(58)-5, 25-21) and Awais defeated Pushpender Singh (India) 4-2 (1-51(37), 47(34)-0, 66(35,31)-0, 10-46, 34-21, 33-21); Irshath Mohamed Thaha (Sri Lanka) beat Asif (5-47, 18-32, 66(35,31)-0, 0-44(36), 42-18, 54(38)-4, 44(40)-0).
