(6) individuals killed and three injured in indiscriminate shelling by rebel militias in El-Obeid

El-Obeid, June 14, 2025 (SUNA) - The indiscriminate shelling carried out by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Friday resulted in the death of (6) members of one family and the injury of three others.

The duty officer at the Eid Al-Adha's Emergency Chamber, at the Ministry of Health and Social Development in North Kordofan State, Mohammed Hussein Zariba, confirmed that the unfortunate events that took place in El-Obeid on Friday morning resulted in the death of (6) members of one family and the injury of (3) others.

Zariba explained that the health situation in the state is stable, noting that health institutions continue to perform their duties efficiently.

This came during his inspection tour, which included the Emergency and Trauma Hospital, El-Obeid Teaching Hospital, the Children's Accident Hospital, the Central Blood Bank, laboratories, and pharmacies of the National Fund for Medical Supplies.

The NASCAR Cup Series will race in Mexico City next weekend, the first points paying race on international soil, which requires an intense logistical process considering they're practically racing just south of Canada this weekend.
