Kim Jong-un fumes as half of troops sent to frontline have been annihilated under Putin’s command

Half of the North Korean troops deployed to support Vladimir Putin’s army have been annihilated, according to British intelligence.
Approximately 11,000 North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia to fight against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, following a surprise offensive launched by Kyiv in that area.
According to the UK Ministry of Defence , more than 6,000 of these troops have been killed or wounded in the fighting around Kursk.
The Ministry posted on its official X account: " Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) forces have highly likely sustained more than 6,000 casualties in offensive combat operations against Ukrainian forces in the Russian oblast of Kursk. "
It added: " The total casualties amount to more than half of the approximately 11,000 DPRK troops initially deployed to the Kursk region. Open-source reports suggest DPRK has subsequently deployed limited numbers of additional troops to Kursk. Significant DPRK casualty rates have almost certainly been sustained primarily through large, highly attritional dismounted assaults. "
In exchange for its military support, Pyongyang is reportedly receiving technological assistance from Moscow—particularly in the field of nuclear development.
