Climate change impact, a looming national crisis

That is threatening the socio-economic livelihoods of people who mostly depend on farming activities for their upkeep and survival. Climate change Climate change refers to the long-term warming of the planet due to an increase in average global temperatures. This warming is primarily caused by human activities that release greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide and methane, into the atmosphere, leading to a range of negative impacts on the environment, human health and the economy.
