Hooters Abruptly Closes Over 30 Locations After Bankruptcy

In late March, Hooters filed for bankruptcy but the iconic restaurant chain did not indicate that restaurants would close as a result of the filing. Taco Mac suddenly closes Midtown location

Another Taco Mac location has shuttered its doors in Atlanta. The Midtown location suddenly closed its doors on Monday. Taco Mac Metropolis was located in Midtown on Peachtree Street. An 11Alive crew drove by the former location and saw that the sign was removed from the building. Google listed the business as permanently closed. After checking the website's locations map, 11Alive noticed the Peachtree Street location no longer appeared. It's unclear why the location has closed. It comes just weeks after Taco Mac closed its original location in Virginia Highlands , which will transition to a Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint. Toyota Music Factory in Irving officially unveils 3 new restaurants

A trio of new restaurants have debuted at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, one of which is a familiar name: The live music and entertainment venue is now home to Jaxon Texas Kitchen, Shoals Smokehouse, and Pistil Cocktail Lounge, which have opened under the management of Hospitality Alliance, the restaurant group led by CEO Kevin Lillis (AT&T Discovery District, One Victory Park). Toyota Music Factory opened in 2017, then underwent a renovation in 2024 that included upgrades to the outdoor stage, plaza, and storefronts of several tenant spaces.
